Frank Roy Burton - WMHS Class of 1960, age 66, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on  August 31, 2008.

Frank was born May 24, 1942, in Paducah, Kentucky

Beloved husband of Theresa; dearly loved father of Erik Romeo (Kathryn), Mark & Todd. He is also survived by many loved family & friends.

Frank, after serving in the Army, continued his education and received a Bachelor of Arts from Mercy College of Detroit in 1977.

He went on to become a Senior Detective with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department and after 26 years of service, he retired in 1987.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew & loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, north of Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan.

Katherine L. (Wolkens) Chinn - WMHS Class of 1962

Katherine L. Chinn, 64, of Decker, Michigan, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Marlette Regional Hospital, Marlette, Michigan.

Mrs. Chinn has lived in the Decker area since 1997 and was previously from Wayne, Michigan.

She was born February 22, 1944 in Jackson, Michigan, daughter of the late Hermon and Hannah (Alexander) Wolkens.

She married Martin Chinn on April 12, 1970 in Bay City, Michigan.

She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Westland, Michigan.

She is survived by her husband, Martin of Decker: son, Timothy and Carrie Chinn of Wayne; daughter, Terri Sanderson of Pinckney; grandchildren, Erin and Brenna Sanderson of Pinckney, Destiny and Addison Chinn of Wayne and many brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Reverend Eric Kilmer of Our Savior Lutheran Church,  officiating.

Interment was at the Johnston Cemetery in Snover, Michigan.

Memorials may be donated to the Our Savior Lutheran Church School Fund or Marlette Regional Hospital.

Visitation was held on Tuesday from 1pm to 9pm at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette.

Lee, of Leesburg, Florida, lost his fight to cancer Friday, May 12, 2006.

Born in Highland Park, Michigan. Lee began his career in education in Wayne, Michigan, as an English and Psychology teacher.

He moved to Maumee, Ohio, in 1968, as Associate Principal of Maumee High School and served as its Principal from 1973 to 1994, when he retired.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Patricia A. Black of Leesburg, FL; daughter, Meredith (John) Detlef of Toledo, Ohio; sons, Andrew (Amy) Black of Hampton, Virginia, brother, Alan (Charles) Black of Lansing, Michigan; sisters, Patricia V. Black of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Barbara (Steve) Bock of Lansing, Michigan; grandchildren, Jewell, Joy and Colton and many friends.
